2009 EQUINE AFFAIRE AT THE OHIO EXPO CENTER A SUCCESS!
The 16th annual Equine Affaire in the Midwest
drew tens of thousands of horsepeople who enjoyed a world-class educational program and extensive trade show, as well as an entertaining and informative competition.

Training Clinics, Seminars & Demonstrations 
The 2009 Equine Affaire in Columbus featured in-depth clinics conducted by many of the nation's foremost trainers, coaches, and competitors. Dozens of seminars and demonstrations were also offered in the Seminar Stage and Demo Ring to cover a wide range of subjects such as health, nutrition, and business topics. Most clinicians at Equine Affaire accepted horses and riders through the Ride With The Best program. 2009 Roster of Outstanding Presenters
Craig Cameron's Extreme Cowboy Race™ 
The Extreme Cowboy Race—as seen on RFD-TV—is a competition in which horses and riders work through an obstacle course while being timed and judged on their abilities. Top competitors at the 2009 Extreme Cowboy Race at Equine Affaire received cash and other great prizes.
Youth & Collegiate Horse Judging Contest
Individuals and teams put their equine knowledge to the test and competed for top awards in Equine Affaire’s first Youth & Collegiate Horse Judging Contest. The contest featured a variety of breeds and disciplines in both halter and performance classes and posed a broader range of judging challenges than normally encountered in most horse judging contests.
Pfizer Fantasia
The Pfizer Fantasia—A Musical Celebration of the Horse—took place on Friday and Saturday evenings in the Coliseum. It was a truly dazzling celebration of the horse and something the whole family could have enjoyed.
Trade Show
Equine Affaire's trade show covered five exhibit halls and the outdoor areas in between! Attendees browsed through acres of booths representing a full range of horse-related products and services.
Breed Pavilion & Horse & Farm Exhibits
The Breed Pavilion showcased major breeds of horses as well as several unique breeds. The Horse & Farm exhibits area featured a vast number of stallions, horse breeding farms, and training facilities.
Youth Pavilion
The Arabian Horse Association Youth Pavilion was a special place for horse-crazy kids of all ages. In addition to educational and horse-related exhibits, there were also four full days of presentations by many of today's most popular educators, demonstrations by various horse breeds, a Celebrity Horse Showcase, and plenty of fun activities for kids!
ARIA Test Center 
Equine Affaire is an American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA) test center.Testing was be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the Ohio Expo Center. If you would like more information about the ARIA or wish to register for future tests, contact Charlotte Kneeland at (239) 948-3232.
